wants the audience to feel like they’re experiencing something magical for the first time, every time,” Flipz says. “ That’s what draws me in.”

WORKING WITH LEGENDS

Flipz’s career has been defined by his work with some of the most iconic artists of our time. From Michael Jackson’s perfectionism to Missy Elliott’s attention to detail, Flipz has seen firsthand what it takes to create a legendary performance.

“Michael Jackson cared about every single detail,” Flipz recalls. “Missy Elliott is the same way—she’s thinking about the dancers, the costumes, how the lights hit the stage. Janet Jackson is all about the audience’s experience, and Lady Gaga is constantly thinking about how her fans, her ‘little monsters,’ will perceive the show.”

These artists, Flipz notes, understand that consistency and quality are key. They’ve been in the game for decades, and their dedication to their craft is what has kept them at the top. Franz Harary, who has worked with all of them, shares that same commitment to excellence—something that has made their collaborations so successful.

A BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

One of Flipz’s favorite stories from working with Franz involves a surprise birthday celebration during a rehearsal with Missy Elliott. “Franz was so focused on the work that he didn’t even realize it was his birthday,” Flipz recalls. “Missy found out and decided to surprise him. She got a cake, and right in the middle of rehearsal, we all started singing ‘Happy Birthday.’ Franz was completely caught off guard—it was such a humble moment.”

The gesture, Flipz says, speaks volumes about the respect Franz commands in the industry. “Here’s this megastar, Missy Elliott, taking time out of her rehearsal to celebrate him. That’s the kind of respect Franz commands. He’s just so down-to-earth and dedicated to his craft.”

A GLOBAL STAGE

Flipz’s work with Franz has taken him around the world, including a recent production in China that brought together dancers from Russia, Latvia, and the U.S. The show was a massive undertaking, with dancers from different backgrounds and styles—ballet, gymnastics, freestyle—coming together to bring Franz’s grand vision to life.

“It was challenging at first because the dancers hadn’t worked together before,” Flipz says. “But by the end, they were like sisters. They were so excited to be part of the magic—disappearing, reappearing, working with these incredible props. It was like a playground for them.”

Seeing Franz’s vision come to life, Flipz says, was one of the most rewarding experiences of his career. “It was incredible to watch these dancers, who came from such different worlds, come together and create something truly magical.”

As for what’s next, Flipz is always open to new challenges. “I love
