A FEW WORDS FROM THE EDITOR

This is an exciting issue with my friend Luca Volpe on the cover and his journey into the world of mentalism . Luca is a celebrated mentalist , with major credits such as television , many awards and a busy performer , but what I find fascinating is his journey on how he got there . Finding that area of our craft and making it your own is something we should all strive for if we want to move forward . Luca has certainly done that , and more .

Canada has a new superstar of magic , and her name is Alexandra Burgio . She will be new to many but in reality , Alexandra has been in magic a very long time . She has more experience on stage than most performers and is finally getting the recognition she deserves . I ' m going to make a prediction and say Alexandra has the talent and skill to really become a major player in show-business . She is a breath of fresh air with her incredible performances on Penn & Teller : Fool Us and Canada ' s Got Talent were outstanding . She exudes warmth , strength and charm that makes her a powerful star magician and entertainer . I am excited to feature her story in this issue of VANISH and let you discover an artist who elevates our craft and deserves all the success .
