MY THOUGHTS :

Rubén has taken a n effect and really added something special to it . The routine is hilarious and the magic incredibly strong . Not only is it fun for the audience but it ' s fun to perform . If you are familiar with Pavel ' s Walking Knot then you will know the basic effect , what Unplugged does is now give a great story to the trick . The premise is that you have the cord plugged in to something and there seems to be a fault with it . You then pull the plug apart , put it back and it can move up and down the cord . This can happen several times at different positions . The finale , which I really love and gives this a great ending is the plus themselves still attached to small cord come off all together .

The structure of the routine is so well thought out and the sequences all make sense .

You receive the hand made cord , which is rope but looks like electrical cord . What makes this so special is that the rope is made just for the trick . The quality is of the highest standard . The method is so incredibly clever and it makes the routine easy to perform . I found this very easy to perform as you don ' t need to tie knots like the original Pavel version . The plugs do all the work - you just connect , move and unconnect .
