virtual world start or end . There is close-up magic in the show with which he likes to display his versatility . He cuts a woman in half in a very dark , dramatic and bloody manner , never to restore her again , ala Richiardi . I could go on and on describing the 1 hour 45 minute show . He closes with his signature levitation routine , where he floats and walks on air all over the stage . This is probably the best version I have seen of this effect from a technical standpoint . While many performers dim the lights before levitating , Criss performs it in a fully lit stage , allowing the onlookers to experience the full floating experience .
I have a friend that works at a key position backstage , and he keeps telling me that they are constantly tweaking , improving and striving to provide the very best show possible . Kudos go to him and to the rest of the crew . Whoever is the stage manager deserves an award . The sheer amount of cues and precision that this show demands is extraordinary and I have no idea how they do it . The rest of the cast is fantastic - Stephan ( the card manipulator ) was the act he showcased during the show , and the dancers were graceful and athletic .
In conclusion , I think Criss ’ show is more than a magic show . Indeed , there are other shows in town that anyone can enjoy : David Copperfield ’ s is outstanding , Penn and Teller will blow you away with their unique plots and originality , Mac King has the best structured show , ever , etc . But Criss Angel ’ s current show could not have been possible a few years ago , as technology had to catch up to make his vision a reality . What is unique about this show is that it is a complete IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE . It is now his time to dominate in the live magic show scene in Las Vegas . I don ’ t think this show could be duplicated or seen anywhere else . So , if you are here in Las Vegas , and want to see something really special , that has not being seen since the days of Siegfried and Roy , do check it out . You won ’ t be disappointed .
( Note : This is a completely unsolicited review . I am old fashioned - I can ’ t stand heavy metal music or rap ( if I can ’ t hum it , I don ’ t like it ) - and I STILL liked the show . Lol !)

35 years ago I saw Sigfreid and Roy perform the Asrah illusion , and I got that feeling where I knew I had seen something special . Up until last night I have never had that feeling again until I saw Criss Angel perform his levitation , which is the greatest illusion I have ever seen ! ( Thanks David Penn you said it was )
It was so good I had to get people around me to help me stand up ( first time in 20 years ) and give him a standing ovation ! This was such an emotional moment I will never forget . Thank you Criss for arranging for me to sit in a regular seat and for people not to stand up in front of me so I could get a proper view of this levitation , please note this is nothing like the flying illusion ( Peter Pan ) this is floating , suspension , levitation , everything , and do you know what was emotionally moving ? Is that he dedicated this illusion to me !
