Both Charlie and Sherry are thrilled with Thomas ’ s artwork . He perfectly captured the classic , vaudeville feel they were hoping to achieve . Just like a vintage magic poster , the original cover artwork gives you a good indication of what ' s inside .

Next it all fell onto Stina Henslee ' s plate , to meet the immense challenge of graphic design . Charlie was adamant that the entire book had a fun and theatrical vibe .
Not a day went by that there weren ’ t rewrites , corrections and rewrites of the last rewrites . Both Sherry and Charlie gave up trying to remember how many times they reread , changed , adjusted and fine-tuned the text .
