THIS MONTH

A FEW WORDS FROM THE EDITOR
What an incredible month! Somehow, I managed to produce two Vanish Specials in March— plus this regular issue. Looking back, I’ m still not entirely sure how I pulled it off! If you missed them, be sure to grab the FISM Special and the Franz Harary Special— trust me, they’ re worth it.
This April, Vanish is proud to celebrate Autism Acceptance Month, a cause deeply personal to me. As someone who deals with autism daily, this issue holds special meaning. That’ s why I’ m thrilled to highlight the extraordinary Cillian O’ Connor, a young magician whose talent and charisma have taken the magic world by storm. From his TV appearances to his standout performance at the Blackpool Magic Convention, Cillian is one of the most natural, engaging performers I’ ve seen— and it’ s easy to forget he’ s still a teenager. He’ s proof that magic’ s future is in brilliant hands.
Mystify Magic Festival

56-57 Speaking of the future, we’ re bringing you an exclusive review of the historic Mystify Festival in Las Vegas. Huge thanks to Connie Boyd for delivering this story so quickly— it’ s a must-read. This groundbreaking event is reshaping magic as we know it, and I have no doubt it’ s only the beginning. Change is here, and it’ s exhilarating.
And now, some exciting news: Vanish has been nominated for the FISM Digital Magazine Award! Since launching in 2011, we’ ve pushed boundaries, innovated, and set the standard for digital magic publications— and beyond. With features like audio content and multi-language support, we’ re just getting started. Technology is finally catching up to the ideas I ' ve been developing, and the best is yet to come.
