A NEW YEAR ...
We have now entered a new year 2021 . Nobody could predict how 2020 turned out , and certainly nobody can predict how 2021 will turn out . I would like to sincerely wish everybody a safe and healthy year ahead . I ; m going to post ten questions for this editorial I ' d be very keen to hear your answers , and in a years time I will ask these questions again and compare .
THE YEAR BEHIND
What went well ? Noticing the good - especially in tough times - is a crucial skill for resilience , success and well-being . We are not wired to focus on the good so an effort will need to be made to bring the good back in to focus .
Where in your life did you experience change and disruption , and how did you deal with this ? This will be different for everybody . I know most magicians who not full time and have other jobs and able to continue some kind of work , but those , like myself , whose income comes solely from magic had major changes in their lives .
What did 2020 teach you ? I have found that the tough bits bring the greatest potential for learning and growth .
What needs to go ? There comes a time when we are just ready to let some things go . Time to clean out and let go to start fresh in the new year .
Give your year a theme . You may have started with a mantra or theme at the beginning of the year but things changed drastically . Send off 2020 with a theme by completing this phrase : 2020 was the year of .............
THE YEAR AHEAD
How will you define success in the year ahead ? Consider all the facets of your life ( career , personal , physical , mental , emotional , other ). Now refine or redefine what your authentic version of success will be all about in the year ahead .
Where will you take smart risks this year ? We have realised we can ' t always guarantee security and certainly in our work and our lives . Where might a bold move , a calculated risk or leap of faith , potentially open more possibility for you ?
How will you step in to your courage this year ? Dealing with challenges and taking bold steps isn ' t about being fearless . We all have the potential to tap into courage - even if it ' s just for moments at a time . TIP : Knowing your own strengths talents and abilities can be a confidence booster . Is it time to rediscover and connect with your own superpowers .
How will you connect with your super powers the year ? Are you clear on what your best talents , strengths and abilities are - and are you using them enough ?

What ' s your intention theme for 2021 ? What stands out for you as you reflect on your intentions for the year ahead ?
