WOMEN ' S HISTORY MONTH
March celebrates Women ' s History Month and Julie Eng is pure magic in every aspect of magic . While the public can clearly relate to her success , her abilities and serious skills , it ’ s her behind-the-scenes experiences , dedication , work ethic and effort that are invisible ones that make her so rare . She is the perfect person to represent our cover for this month .
We also just released another special edition of VANISH in February , Female Magicians Through The Centuries . Sebastien Bazou and Connie Boyd worked very hard to put this incredible edition together and I am so proud of its release . It is a perfect fit for Women ' s History Month .
Felicity Fields has one of the most unique stories in this issue with her guest JJ Lucia-Wright . JJ is CEO of Magic-Touch and he shares his work on adapting magic for disabled magicians , and for their audience . This is a side of the world of magic that is vastly overlooked . Be sure to watch the video and you will a performance for a deafblind man .
Nick Lewin also has a guest contributor Blair Robertson who gives us an insight in to the life and times of Eddie Diijon . We also have EXCLUSIVE photos of the most incredible vanishing birdcage ever created . There are only three in the world and long sought after by those magicians in the know . Eddie is now retired in Canada but had an incredible life as a professional magician .
I am always excited to get an article by Ben Robinson and this is another thought provoking story featuring artist John Clessler . Ben gets us thinking about Magic , Art and Consciousness . " John Clessler is a fine artist . A painter . Like all great artists what sets him apart from others is his individuality . You can see it in his humility , his sharp style of dress , and his humor . His expanded consciousness . It is unmistakable ."
