The FULL cast and crew of the production .
Despite the grandeur of his illusions , Harary ’ s focus has shifted over the years from performing to creating . “ I realized a long time ago that I no longer need the approval of strangers . Performing is fun , but what excites me is creating something new , something that didn ’ t exist before ,” he admits . This sentiment is reflected in the show ’ s innovative elements , such as Al ’ s Magic Warehouse — an artfully designed lobby space filled with props from Harary ’ s House of Magic in Macau . Here , Al Ullmann performs a captivating pre-show , setting the stage for the main event .
As audiences transition into the theater , they encounter a seamless blend of performances . Brazilian street magician Fabio roams the aisles , engaging with guests , while Philip Kaiser , Harary ’ s “ mini-me ,” performs close-up magic at a table on stage , projected onto a large screen for everyone to see . “ By having the audience come up onto the stage , I ’ m breaking the fourth wall , allowing them to feel like they ’ re part of something magical ,” Harary explains . The experience is meticulously crafted to blur the lines between the show and reality . Mickey O ’ Connor , a performance artist , helps maintain this fluidity by controlling audience attention and transitioning seamlessly into the start of the main performance . Harary even encourages audience members to film and share their experiences on social media , creating a “ Christmas tree ” effect of glowing screens throughout the theater .
Interestingly , the show ’ s conclusion presents a unique challenge . “ The audience didn ’ t want to leave because they ’ d been conditioned to expect the unexpected . They didn ’ t know if the show was truly over ,” Harary notes . His solution ? A casual reappearance on stage , towel and water bottle in hand , inviting impromptu photo sessions that gently signal the end of the performance .
