I got into magic because it made me really happy and hopeful . When my parents shared my first magic video on Instagram , it got noticed by Connie Boyd from Magical Women . She posted it onto the “ Emerging Talent ” playlist on the Magical Women YouTube channel , and people left nice comments saying how much they enjoyed it and believed in me . That made me want to keep doing magic even more . Now , magic is a big part of my life and it gives me the courage to chase after all my dreams .”
On being a student of Jeff McBride and excitement . She thrived , learning new magic tricks and skills . She gained confidence and the courage to begin performing her magic for others . She discovered she loved to share the wonder of magic .
Rachel became an avid fan of Penn & Teller , watching their performances on television . She confided : “ Their magic sparked something deeply inspirational within me . I particularly admired Teller - his silent performances spoke volumes , just like me in my silent world .”
When the pandemic shut everything down , she proactively looked for opportunities to delve deeper into magic through books and videos . Along the way , she discovered incredible master magicians with brilliant minds ,

Since she was eight years old Rachel has studied with Jeff McBride at his “ Magic & Mystery School .” She holds the honor of being his youngest student .
Thanks to her “ Fool Us ” performance Rachel now includes extraordinary mentors like Michael Close , Andrew Golder , and Lincoln Hiatt in her personal magic arsenal and she is very grateful to them for providing invaluable advice and guidance about performing magic on television . Additionally , Natalie Breitenmoser , a world record holder in quick change illusions , graciously shared
her expertise in the art of high-speed dress changes .
Yet Rachel still sees herself as a beginner in the world of magic . She stated : “ There ' s a whole universe of magic waiting for me to explore , and I know there ' s so much I can learn from magicians of all backgrounds and experiences .”
As , “ a regular kid and a fulltime student in public school ,” Rachel feels incredibly fortunate to have another mentor , her school teacher , Tom Pesce . She expanded : “ His remarkable showmanship as a magician and keynote speaker serves as a daily inspiration and I count my lucky stars for the opportunity to learn from him academically and magically .
