The plywood box is painted to imitate several boards attached together . This layer of the base is stained a light wood color .
The rolling undercarriage is made from aluminum tubing . This layer of the overall base is painted a dark metallic grey . The casters are 6 " in diameter .
The interior depth of the base , that is comprised of the “ wooden planks ” and undercarriage , is 10 3 / 4 " deep .

The layer of the base that is attached to the framework supporting wall is 4 1 / 4 " deep . This makes the hiding space for the Magician , in total , 15 " deep . The scale of the illusion / base will need to be adjusted tp fit your own needs / measurements .
The supporting frame is made from hollow aluminum tubing . This is painted a dark metallic brown .
The top of the hiding area , directly behind the door , is covered with two overlapping pieces of black stretch fabric . This allows the Magician to easily enter and exit the base .
The door is painted a medium blue with a white inset border . The door handles are nickel plated .
The light above the front of the door can be wired to function if desired .
