SECOND SIGHT

The “ second sight ” act used by fair artists at the fairgrounds was transposed to stage for the first time by Giuseppe Pinetti and his wife in 1783 . This archetype of act ( divination while blindfolded ) reappeared on stage in 1845 with Robert-Houdin and his son and continues to present day .
Telepathy 6 became a fashionable effect and illusionists collaborated with their female partners , who became the center of attention . Among them : Louise and John Henry Anderson , Haidee and Robert Heller , Madame and Mr Henri Robin , Agnes Claussen Jörgensen and Julius Zancig ( The Zancings ), Ackita and Ezu-Ala , Foska and Roskoff , Mariska and Professor Dalmoras , Mickaella and Talazac . Saltana and Georges Door Leblanc ( who presented themselves as medium and a diviner ) and Marie-Laure Louis and Jean-François Neulat ( who performed a “ musical clairvoyance ” act ).
