A FEW WORDS FROM THE EDITOR
Benigne Tainturier gets an exclusive interview with artist, producer, and director Dominic Ulli.
This month, we’re thrilled to feature Jeki Yoo as our cover star—a true master of online magic and one of my personal favorite performers. Jeki has an unparalleled ability to captivate through the camera, blending the art of social media and live performance seamlessly. Every trick he performs leaves me utterly baffled, and that’s exactly what great magic should do.

Magicians Hall of Fame are Diana Zimmerman, Fieling West, Gay Blackstone and Howard Hamburg.
For over a century, The Los Angeles Tribune has served as an independent voice recognizing leadership, cultural excellence, and enduring legacy across industries. Since its fourth iteration beginning in 2020, under the stewardship of CEO Moe Rock, The Los Angeles Tribune has established prestigious international awards programs — including the Lifetime Achievement Awards , Philanthropy Awards , and Speakers Hall of Fame — honoring iconic figures such as 3-time Guinness World Record holder Mark Victor Hansen , Presidential Financial Advisor Sharon Lechter , and Joseph McClendon III , right-hand trainer to Tony Robbins . "Our commitment remains to elevate excellence where it has often gone unrecognized by traditional media, including through our certified partnership with AmeriCorps and The Office of the U.S. President in recognizing extraordinary service through the Presidential Volunteer Service Awards ," says Editor-in-Chief, Ava V. Manuel.
The Tribune’s connection to magic runs deeper than many realize—its pages have chronicled the feats of legendary illusionists for over a century including LeRoy, Telma and Bosco, Houdini, Herrmann, and Harry Keller to name a few.
When mainstream media like The Los Angeles Tribune covers magic, it elevates its status from mere entertainment to a respected performance art, akin to theater or dance.
Anytime coverage in major publications exposes magic to people who might not seek it out, it helps performers gain new fans and opportunities. The recognition also helps preserve magic’s history and innovation, ensuring it’s taken seriously beyond just "tricks" or "illusions."
It is with that same commitment that the Global Magicians Hall of Fame was born — extending this mission into a cultural art form that has profoundly shaped global entertainment and human wonder: magic .
The event will be marked with a star studded line up of performers, presenters and honorees on July 9th 2025 at the Clark County Library Theatre in Las Veags. For more information check out their website at GlobalMagiciansHallofFame.com
